How To Teach BJJ During Rolling

During rolling, you can teach a novice how to defend against attacks and how escape positions by maintaining the flow of the fight.

For Example:

1) You hold the novice in a dominant position and submit him;

2) Continue the match from the same position and submit him with several submissions, each time the novice becoming wiser to your attacks;

3) After 3-4 submission, teach the novice how to escape the position, allow him to escape; and,

4) Continue rolling until you tap the novice again from a new position, hold the position, attack with several submission so the novice knows what to defend against, then teach the novice how to escape.

As you repeat this cycle the novice will learn defenses and escapes for a variety of positions and submissions.

Enjoy.
